WHAT ABOUT COVID-19 & SAFETY?

NTICC takes the health and safety of our attendees seriously. NTICC will follow all recommendations and mandates issued by the CDC, as well as guidelines set forth by the state of Kentucky. At this time, there are no vaccine or mask mandates for NTICC, though vaccination is recommended and masking during the conference is recommended. 

*NTICC will continue to monitor the situation and may make adjustments accordingly.

WHAT IS THE REGISTRATION COST?

Attendee registration is $500, plus Eventbrite processing fees.

ARE MEALS PROVIDED?

NTICC registration fees include the following meals and snacks: 

  • Monday 8/22 - Afternoon Break Snacks, dinner on your own

  • Tuesday 8/23 - Breakfast Buffet, Morning Break Snacks, Lunch Buffet, Afternoon Break Snacks, Vendor Reception Snacks, dinner on your own

  • Wednesday 8/24 - Breakfast Buffet, Morning Break Snacks, Lunch Buffet, Afternoon Break Snacks, dinner on your own

  • Thursday 8/25 - Breakfast Buffet, Morning Break Snacks, Lunch Buffet, Afternoon Break Snacks, Banquet Dinner

  • Friday 8/26 - Breakfast Buffet

  • Daily - All Day Coffee

WHERE CAN I FIND THE CONFERENCE AGENDA? 

The final agenda will be made available no later than June 1, 2022. A draft schedule is available HERE.

WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE FORMAT? 

Conference tracks include Safety, Planning, Transit, Project Management/Maintenance & Operations, and Hot Topics. 60+ 90-minute concurrent breakout sessions will be offered  in the tracks listed during the conference week.

WILL THERE BE A VIRTUAL OPTION TO ATTEND?

At this time, there are no plans to offer NTICC in a virtual format.

HOW SHOULD I JUSTIFY MY ATTENDANCE TO MY EMPLOYER?

A justification letter template is available for your use. Simply download HERE, enter the information that applies to you, and submit it to your director or appropriate personnel.

IS THERE A HEAVY EQUIPMENT ROADEO THIS YEAR?

Yes - The Heavy Equipment Roadeo will take place on Monday, August 22, starting at 8:00 am. Transportation to the Heavy Equipment Roadeo is provided, and will start at 7:00 am. If you are participating in the Roadeo, please plan your travel arrangements accordingly.

WHAT IS THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT ROADEO?

The Heavy Equipment Roadeo is a hands on event geared towards field service workers and supervisors. Participants will operate and maneuver heavy equipment around an outdoor "obstacle course" for the chance to win pric

WHERE IS THE 2022 NTICC BEING HELD?

The 2022 NTICC is an in-person conference that will be held on August 22 - 26, 2022 at the Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. Check out the venue HERE.

WHEN CAN I RESERVE MY HOTEL ROOM?

Room reservations are now open. Reserve your hotel room HERE or by calling 1-800-THE OMNI and refer to the "National Transportation in Indian Country Conference". the room rate is $189/night. The room block cut off date is July 22, 2022.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?

Full refunds (minus processing fees) will be issued on or before June 23, 2022 (60 days prior to the first day of the conference). No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 60 days before the first day of the conference. Late requests for refunds due to a family emergency only will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please send cancellation requests via e-mail to: conference@nticc.org

Omni Louisville Hotel is near the following airports:

  • Louisville International Airport (SDF) is located 5.9 miles away.

  • Cincinnati International Airport (CVG) is located 95.8 miles from the hotel.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT?

The Omni Louisville Hotel recommends using rideshare platforms such as Uber, Lyft, or transportation via taxi from the Louisville International Airport (SDF) (located just 5.9 miles away from the Omni Louisville Hotel).

The Omni Louisville Hotel offers overnight valet parking, which is $37 per night, per car. Self-parking is located directly across the street from the hotel is and is $13/day.
