PRESENTER INFORMATION

Thank you for contributing to the 2023 National Transportation in Indian Country Conference (NTICC) as a presenter. We are excited to have you share your research, knowledge and experience with the topic.

The following information is to help you prepare your presentation and understand commitments for presenting at the conference.
CONFERENCE INFORMATION
ATTENDANCE
The 27th Annual NTICC is being held in person September 24 - 28, 2023, at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska. All presenters must attend in person. Virtual presentation options will not be available for this conference.

REGISTRATION
All presenters must register for the conference and pay applicable registration fees ($319.59). Presenters attending only for their session and then leaving may be considered "drop in" presenters. Please email conference@nticc.org if this applies to you. Registration is currently available here. Select the "Presenter" ticket option.

LODGING
NTICC Room Blocks are available at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown for $169/night and the Hilton Anchorage Hotel for $229/night. The room block cut off date is August 23, 2023.

TRAVEL
Flight discounts are available through Alaska Airlines and United Airlines. Click here for additional information about travel discounts exclusive to NTICC attendees.
SESSION INFORMATION
FORMAT
All breakout sessions are presented within a 90-minute period in assigned breakout rooms of the Dena'ina Center. Presentation dates and times are available on the draft agenda. Room locations will be announced as we get closer to the conference.

PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION
As a session presenter, you have 90 minutes to conduct your session. Please reserve at least five (5) minutes at the end of each session for attendees to complete the post session survey.

Use of slides is encouraged. Presenters should use the template slides provided to them by the NTICC Planning Committee.

If your presentation includes a video or other multimedia, please embed the file into your presentation. This will increase your file size, but links can break preventing the use of your video.

You are responsible for providing copies of all handouts used for your session.

AVAILABLE TECHNOLOGY
Computers: Presenters should bring their own laptops. A limited number of laptops will be available in case of emergency.
Projection and Sound: Each presentation room is equipped with a projector, screen, and audio capability. Your laptop may need an adapter to work correctly with the projector.
WiFi: The Dena'ina Center has free guest wifi available for presenters to access.
Assistance with Setup: AV staff members will be available to assist with technology setup.

ROOM SET UP
Each breakout room will have a presenter station up front. The room will be arranged classroom style. If you have a special setup need or request, please contact conference@nticc.org.

POST SESSION SURVEY
Reserve five (5) minutes at the end of your presentation for attendees to complete the post session survey. Each session will have a unique QR Code that will be included on the final presentation slide. Instruct attendees to scan the QR Code and complete the survey prior to leaving the session.
